According to Section 409(h)(1)(C) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, food contact substance notifications (FCNs) are effective only for the listed manufacturer and its customers. Other manufacturers must submit their own FCN for the same food contact substance and intended use.

Intended Use: For use as a microwave susceptor base material in aramid paper having a maximum basis weight of 20 pounds per 1000 square feet.
Limitations/Specifications: The FCS may be used at levels not to exceed 50 percent by weight in a mixture with poly(terephthaloyl chloride/p-phenylenediamine)(CAS Reg. No. 26125-61-1). The finished paper may be used under microwave susceptor conditions in contact with all food types as defined in Table 1.
