Enviro Tech Chemical Services, Incorporated

According to Section 409(h)(1)(C) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, food contact substance notifications (FCNs) are effective only for the listed manufacturer and its customers. Other manufacturers must submit their own FCN for the same food contact substance and intended use.
Food Contact Substance: A mixture of peroxyacetic acid, hydrogen peroxide, and 1-hydroxyethylidine-1,1-diphosphonic acid.

Manufacturer/Supplier: Enviro Tech Chemical Services, Incorporated
Intended Use: As an antimicrobial to control microorganisms in ice and wash water used to commercially prepare fish and seafood.
Limitations/Specifications: The components of the food-contact substance are limited to use in ice and wash water at levels not exceeding: 190 parts per million peroxyacetic acid; 75 parts per million hydrogen peroxide; and, 10 parts per million hydroxyethylidine-1,l-diphosphonic acid.
