According to Section 409(h)(1)(C) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, food contact substance notifications (FCNs) are effective only for the listed manufacturer and its customers. Other manufacturers must submit their own FCN for the same food contact substance and intended use.
Food Contact Substance: 1,6-Hexanediamine, N,N'-bis(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidinyl)-, polymer with 2,4,6-tricholoro-1,3,5-triazine, reaction products with N-butyl-1-butanamine and N-butyl-2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidinamine (CAS Reg. No. 192268-64-7).

Intended Use: As a light/thermal stabilizer in ethylene polymers and copolymers authorized for use in contact with food.
Limitations/Specifications: At levels not to exceed 0.3 percent by weight in molded (low density and linear low density ethylene polymers or copolymers) or rotomolded (high density ethylene polymers and copolymers) articles in contact with fatty or high alcoholic foods under Conditions of Use D through G as described in Table 2.
