Intended Use: For use as a flavor modifier in foods, excluding infant formula and products under jurisdiction of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). The maximum recommended use level of EMSG in food is 600 milligrams per kilogram (mg/kg) and in chewing gum is 1500 mg/kg.
