Proviron Functional Chemicals

According to Section 409(h)(1)(C) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, food contact substance notifications (FCNs) are effective only for the listed manufacturer and its customers. Other manufacturers must submit their own FCN for the same food contact substance and intended use.
Food Contact Substance: Ethylenesulfonic acid, sodium salt (CAS Reg. No. 3039-83-6).

Manufacturer/Supplier: Proviron Functional Chemicals
Intended Use: As a comonomer in the production of aqueous polymer dispersions, at a maximum content of 31.5 percent by weight, for use in the production of pressure-sensitive adhesives according to 21 CFR 175.125.
Limitations/Specifications: The pressure-sensitive adhesives are intended for use under Conditions of Use E through G as described in Table 2.
