Intended Use: For use as a co-reactant in the production of polyester resins applied to metal substrates for use in contact with food, except for use in contact with infant formula and breast milk (see Limitations/Specifications).
Limitations/Specifications: Polyesters containing the FCS are cured with phenolic resins. The maximum FCS level in the cured coating is 13.5%. The finished coatings will otherwise comply with FDA regulations for their intended use, and may contact all food types under Conditions of Use A through H as described in Table 2. The safety of usage of the FCS in contact with infant formula and breast milk has not been evaluated.
