Styrolution Europe GmbH

According to Section 409(h)(1)(C) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, food contact substance notifications (FCNs) are effective only for the listed manufacturer and its customers. Other manufacturers must submit their own FCN for the same food contact substance and intended use.
Food Contact Substance: Styrene-1,3-butadiene block copolymer containing 60 - 75 weight - percent of polymer units derived from styrene (CAS Reg. No. 106107-54-4).

Manufacturer/Supplier: Styrolution Europe GmbH
Intended Use: The FCS will be used in the manufacture of food-contact films and coatings.
Limitations/Specifications: Finished articles containing the FCS may be used in finished articles in contact with all food types and under Conditions of Use C though G as described in Table 2. The thickness of the finished food contact article shall not exceed 2 mils.
