According to Section 409(h)(1)(C) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, food contact substance notifications (FCNs) are effective only for the listed manufacturer and its customers. Other manufacturers must submit their own FCN for the same food contact substance and intended use.
Food Contact Substance: Alkyl acrylate copolymers with styrene or alkyl methacrylate copolymers with styrene produced from long-chain (C16 - C22) linear alkyl acrylate or methyacrylate esters with up to 10 weight-percent of styrene in a matrix of neutral carrier oil (CAS Reg. Numbers include, but are not limited to, 851188-39-1 and 816417-47-7).

Manufacturer/Supplier: Evonik RohMax USA, Inc. and all international branches of Evonik RohMax
Intended Use: For use as a processing aid in the manufacture of authorized petroleum wax.
Limitations/Specifications: The concentration of the polymer remaining in the finished wax will not exceed 3000 ppm.
