According to Section 409(h)(1)(C) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, food contact substance notifications (FCNs) are effective only for the listed manufacturer and its customers. Other manufacturers must submit their own FCN for the same food contact substance and intended use.
Food Contact Substance: Butyl acrylate polymer with styrene, methacrylic acid, ethyl acrylate and glycidyl methacrylate.

Manufacturer/Supplier: Sherwin-Williams Company
Intended Use: The polymer is intended for use in resinous and polymeric coatings as described in Title 21 CFR 175.300. Such coatings are intended to be used in contact with all types of food except infant formula, under Conditions of Use A through H as specified in 21 CFR 175.300(d) Table 2.
Limitations/Specifications: Coatings manufactured from the food-contact substance must meet the specifications of Title 21 CFR 175.300(c) when tested with the analytical methods described in 175.300(e) and (f).
