Camelot Technologies, Ltd.

According to Section 409(h)(1)(C) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, food contact substance notifications (FCNs) are effective only for the listed manufacturer and its customers. Other manufacturers must submit their own FCN for the same food contact substance and intended use.
Food Contact Substance: Iso-butylene/maleic anhydride copolymer, sodium salt (CAS Reg. No. 39612-00-5) cross-linked with 1.9 percent by weight glycerol and 1.25 percent by weight 1,4-butanediol.

Manufacturer/Supplier: Camelot Technologies, Ltd.
Intended Use: For use as an component of fluid absorbent pads in contact with meat, poultry, fish and produce.
Limitations/Specifications: The finished article containing the FCS will be used in contact with: 1) meat, poultry, or fish at refrigerated temperatures or below (under Conditions of Use F through G, as described in Table 2) and 2) produce at room temperature or below (under Conditions of Use E through G, as described in Table 2).
