Subject additive and intended use: amending the food additive regulations to provide for a more descriptive term, in place of inhibitor of yeast, for the safe use of dimethyl dicarbonate (DMDC). The more descriptive term is microbial control agent. This document also involves adding related limitations to our regulations on dimethyl dicarbonate.
