According to Section 409(h)(1)(C) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, food contact substance notifications (FCNs) are effective only for the listed manufacturer and its customers. Other manufacturers must submit their own FCN for the same food contact substance and intended use.
Food Contact Substance: Benzoic acid, 2,4-dihydroxy-, polymer with formaldehyde and 1-naphthalenol, sodium salt (CAS Reg. No. 209119-35-7).

Intended Use: For use as an anti-foulant on the interior surfaces of PVC polymerization autoclaves used to produce PVC intended for food contact.
Limitations/Specifications: To be used at levels not to exceed 6 ppm based on the weight of thr vinyl chloride.
